activities
WOAHS. loads of activity in THE blog. i like. give me more updates on singapore! i definitely am more updated on sg news than in montreal. well, simply because i don't own a tv nor do i own the daily newspaper. montreal only has one english newspaper by the way. i have french ones. which don't make much sense to me. heh. i'm like living in my own bubble. which is kinda good i suppose. ignorance is bliss. a load of firearms was found on the street where i live or so i heard. i could totally use not knowing about this kinda stuffs. haha. weather's mad cold here now. today's a high of 17 and a low of 5. yeah FIVE. comes complete with a package of thunder, rain and wind. i don't see how i'm getting to my next class later. haha. academia is HUGE here at McGill. everyone studies. even barbie doll looking girls and sch dropout-looking guys. do not be fooled by appearances aye. these ppl probably ace their exams. it's freaky. if you're complaining about nus and the pressure. you oughta be here. i've never studied so much in my life. it's terrible you know? when everyone's putting in so much effort you don't feel right just slacking it off. which is what anyone on exchange should be doing. sigh. but yeah. i like my courses. sort of. psych and linguistics are huge stuff here. they have an arts & science faculty, which is what i'm in currently. and they make me love neuroscience! ha. chinatown's my favourite place. even thought it's just one short dingy street worth of shops. but they have everything i could imagine. some at exorbitant prices of course. but hey, anything for a piece of home. like mooncakes! and meesua. hahaha. seriously. comfort food is the way to go when you're so far off from home. 've been going to tonnes of places, meeting people and hanging out at events here at school. things are looking up now. i'll probably be SO fat by the time i get back. i definitely need to make up for weight loss in the initial weeks. i lost 2 kgs. tummy was terrible back then. all food looked like crap. and the chinese food at school really does taste like fried rubberbands. $7 for a plate of fried rubberbands they call hor fun mind you. hahaha. delusional quebec. missing all of you! bless,
